翻开《中国地震目录》(科学出版社1971年版)的附录部分,里面有这样一条地震记载:315年(晋建兴三年正月)“平阳(临汾)地震,崇明观陷为池.”大概因为史料过于简略,不好估计震级或烈度的缘故,编者将它收在附录,仅供参考.查《中国地震资料年表》(科学出版社1956年版),关于这一次地震,有如下记载: Open an appendix of “China Earthquake Catalog” (Science Press, 1971), which contains such a seismic record: 315 (Jin Jianxing three years lunar January) “Pingyang (Linfen) earthquake, Chongming concept sink for the pool.
