本文以中西传统的人性论为例，揭示中西文化传统基本价值观的相似性和可比性。第一部分以类型分类和概念分析方法，按“人性是善还是恶”、“什么是善恶的中道”、“如何认识和克服恶”三个问题，梳理儒家各派的人性论。第二部分从西方思想史料中寻觅相同的问题和相应观点。最后比较中西人性论的特点和阐述两者的互补性。
This article takes the traditional Chinese and western theory of human nature as an example to reveal the similarities and comparability of the basic values of Chinese and Western cultures. The first part sorts out the theories of human nature of the Confucian schools based on the three types of classification and conceptual analysis: “human nature is good or evil,” “what is good and evil in the middle” and “how to understand and overcome evil”. The second part looks for the same problems and corresponding views from the historical data of the West. Finally, we compare the characteristics of Chinese and Western human nature and expound their complementarity.
