前言用容量法测定鉍的方法之一,是使鉍成草酸鹽沉澱,將母液濾出後,加水加熱水解,使成鹼性草酸鉍,然後過濾洗淨,用酸將沉澱溶解,以標準高錳酸鉀溶液滴定所析出的草酸,從高錳酸鉀的消耗量,從而計算出鉍的成份。此方法是Muir在1878年提出的。其後,在1882年,Muir與Robbs等改以一定量的草酸钾(K_2C_2O_4·H_2O)為沉沉劑,在醋酸存在下,生成Bi_2(C_2O_4)_3·K_2C_2O_4複鹽後,用標準高錳酸鉀溶液滴定剩餘的草酸鉀溶液。以上所記載的都是基于鉍能與草酸形成难
