There are two topics that can not be separated from the discussion of Chinese animation today: one is the shoddy animation produced by the current television station, and the second is the classic left by the “Chinese Animation School” during its heyday. The gap between the two always let many people filled with emotion. On the face of it, this is clearly a retrogression; but in my opinion, the reason behind this is that it is logical that historical inevitability must have arisen. As we usually say today, “Chinese animation school” is a special product of the times. Its birth, development and rise and fall with the 1950s and 1960s of China’s political and economic system and the international environment are inextricably linked. After the war
