Lateral medullary infarction (Lateral medullary infarction, LMI) is the most common sensory disturbance of cross-sensory dysfunction, the literature occasionally with LMI combined with delayed-onset sensory abnormalities, contralateral or bilateral facial sensory disturbances, conduction-induced sensory disturbances, and ipsilateral Abnormal body feeling. Delayed sensory abnormalities associated with LMI may be neuropathic pain (NeP), a central posttroke pain (CPSP) that is directly related to stroke. This study has diagnosed 3 cases of LMI patients with delayed onset of sensory abnormalities, are summarized as follows, and review the relevant literature.
