Objective: To compare the curative effect of negative pressure closed drainage and traditional debridement and dressing change on wounds of diabetic foot ulcer. Methods: Thirty patients with Wagner grade 2-4 diabetic foot admitted to our department of endocrinology from June 2010 to June 2012 were selected. Randomly divided into two groups, both in the control of blood glucose and anti-infective treatment, the control group were given conventional debridement, dressing, dressing treatment, the experimental group after debridement under negative pressure closed drainage treatment, compared two groups of patients Hospitalization, hospitalization, amputation rate. Results: In the control group, the average length of hospital stay was 52.43 ± 4.90 days, amputation was performed in 6 cases, the average length of stay in the experimental group was (36.58 ± 3.77) days, amputation was performed in 1 case, and the cost of hospitalization was significantly higher in the control group than in the experimental group. Conclusion: The negative pressure closed drainage can promote the growth of granulation tissue, reduce the amputation rate and improve the quality of life of patients.
