目的:探讨Fas配体(FasL)和细胞黏附分子1(ICAM-1)在肥大扁桃体组织高内皮小静脉(HEV)中的表达及意义。方法:收集37例扁桃体切除标本,其中20例为慢性肥大性扁桃体炎患者(CHT组),17例为特异性扁桃体肥大患者(ITH组)。应用苏木精-伊红染色法和免疫组织化学染色(SABC法)研究2组扁桃体组织HEV的T、B淋巴细胞的数目,内皮细胞中FasL及ICAM-1的表达。结果:CHT组HEV中ICAM-1的表达明显高于ITH组(P<0.05),而ITH组HEV中FasL的表达明显高于CHT组(P<0.05)。结论:HEV内皮细胞表达的ICAM-1和FasL均可能在扁桃体肥大的发生、发展过程中起一定的促进作用,前者主要促进CHT发展,后者主要导致ITH。
Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of Fas ligand (FasL) and cell adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) in hypertrophic tonsil tissue in the high endothelial venules (HEV). Methods Totally 37 tonsillectomy specimens were collected, of which 20 were chronic hypertrophic tonsillitis (CHT group) and 17 were specific tonsil hypertrophy (ITH group). Hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemical staining (SABC method) were used to study the numbers of T and B lymphocytes in the tonsil tissue HEV and the expressions of FasL and ICAM-1 in the endothelial cells. Results: The expression of ICAM-1 in HEV of CHT group was significantly higher than that of ITH group (P <0.05). The expression of FasL in HEV of ITH group was significantly higher than that of CHT group (P <0.05). Conclusion: The expression of ICAM-1 and FasL in HEV endothelial cells may play a role in the development and progression of tonsil hypertrophy. The former mainly promotes the development of CHT and the latter mainly leads to ITH.
