本文介绍了中国科技大学国家同步辐射实验室研发的一台食品辐照保鲜用直线加速器中电子枪的设计。通过枪体内电磁场模拟计算、优化电子枪形状、并且在考虑空间电荷效应情况下对电子束发射过程进行模拟,得到了满足设计要求的束斑尺寸。另外对电子枪的加工和调试过程也进行了介绍,通过电子枪高压老炼及出束实验表明,其各项参数性能均达到设计要求。另外对直线加速器螺线管聚焦线圈漏场对束流的影响也作了讨论,采用相应措施可增加磁屏蔽,减小漏场影响,保证束流品质。
This paper introduces the design of an electron gun in a linear accelerator used in food irradiation and preservation developed by the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory of China University of Science and Technology. The shape of the electron gun is optimized by simulating the electromagnetic field in the gun body, and the electron beam emission process is simulated under the consideration of the space charge effect. The beam spot size that meets the design requirements is obtained. In addition, the processing and debugging of the electron gun are also introduced. The experiments of high voltage aging and beam-out of the electron gun show that the performance of each parameter meets the design requirements. In addition, the influence of the leakage field of the linear accelerator solenoid focusing coil on the beam current is also discussed. The corresponding measures can be used to increase the magnetic shield, reduce the influence of the leakage field and ensure the beam quality.
