人们知道,无线电波和光波本质上都是电磁波,电磁波波长范围很宽,约从1×10-10cm到3×10~10cm.其中波长在0.1cm到100cm的电磁波,人们称之为微波.它的频率约在300MHz至300kMHz之间,远高于一般无线电广播和电视广播的载波频率.微波炉就是利用这些微波来加热食品的.国际上为了微波器件标准化和避免通讯干扰,规定工业用微波炉工作频率选用915MHz,家用微波炉选用2450MHz.
It is known that radio waves and light waves are essentially electromagnetic waves. The wavelength range of electromagnetic waves is very wide, ranging from about 1×10-10cm to about 3×10~10cm. Electromagnetic waves with wavelengths from 0.1cm to 100cm are called microwaves. The frequency is between 300MHz and 300kMHz, which is much higher than the carrier frequencies of general radio and television broadcasts. Microwave ovens use these microwaves to heat foods. Internationally, industrial microwave ovens are used to standardize microwave devices and avoid communication interference. Use 915MHz, household microwave oven chooses 2450MHz.
