To improve students’English reading ability and lay a solid foundation for specialized courses of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education in HVS,TBLT is used in English reading teaching,referring to Jane Willis’s task-based teaching mode.Through interview,questionnaire,test and data analysis,the results have been found that TBLT in English reading teaching can arouse students’interest and enthusiasm and improve their reading competence more effectively,which is helpful for English reading teaching of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education in HVS.
