为我军培养航空军医的院校有两所：第四军医大学空军医学系，第四军医大学吉林军医学院。目前８５％的师级以下部队的航医来自后者，９３％的航医具有大专以上学历。然而，存在着所学知识结构老化，工作后继续教育和使用脱节的问题。今后应该从以下３个方面改进航医的培养工作：①加强高技术的学习，以适应现代战争和部队的需要。增设高技术武器致伤特点及救护方法，心理学及战时精神病学知识，伤病员空运后送知识等教学内容。②重视校后的继续再教育，提高航医的专业水平。建立航医培养教育管理系统，完善培训制度，本着缺什么补什么，用什么学什么的原则，定期举办轮训班和航医主任进修班。实行在校学习和函授学习相结合的方式提高航医水平。③办好第四军医大学吉林军医学院的航空军医４年制本科专业，招收部分从飞行学院停飞的学员改学航空医学。这部分人已经飞行５０～１００ｈ，适应部队生活，能将航空医学与飞行实际相结合，像西方国家会飞行的航医那样，更容易把本职工作做好。
There are two colleges and universities that train aviation military doctors for our military: the Air Force Medical Department of the Fourth Military Medical University and the Jilin Military Medical College of the Fourth Military Medical University. The establishment of aeromedicine training and education management system, improve the training system, the lack of what to make up what, what to learn what the principle of regular rotation classes and medical director training class. Implementation of school learning and correspondence learning to improve the level of aeromedicine. ③ to do a good job of the Fourth Military Medical University, Jilin Military Medical College, a four-year military medical undergraduate professional, recruit part of the suspension from the Flight Academy students to study aeromedicine. This part of people has been flying 50 ~ 100h, to adapt to the army’s life, aeromedicine and flight can be combined with the actual, like the Western countries will be flying as medical and aviation, easier to do their jobs.
