模型表明:潮流和波浪混合对南黄海水动力及生态特征的形成起着不可忽视的作用,二者分别破坏上、下层水体的稳定,使上混合层和次表层加深,并促进水体内部的水交换;中部海域春季表层的浮游植物浓度最高,夏天次表层浓度则最高,秋季发生一次弱势水华;近岸海域夏天浓度高但不出现次表层最大化;近岸水域浮游植物生长主要受光照限制,而中部海域受温度、光照和营养盐的限制,且在不同时间和水层的影响程度不同;营养盐方面,P是限制浮游植物生长的主要因子.
