Children and adolescent dyslipidemia are often associated with adult dyslipidemia and cardiovascular disease is closely related to the early screening and diagnosis of dyslipidemia, it is very important. The diagnostic criteria for dyslipidemia in children and adolescents released by the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) and the selective screening program based on family history and high risk factors have been adopted. In recent years, based on the data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) of the United States, recommendations on the threshold of dyslipidemia at different ages of adolescents have been made. At the same time, the universal blood lipids screening program has higher accuracy than the selective screening programs. However, the selection of cut-off points for the screening of dyslipidemia in children and adolescents and the development of a screening program for lipids need to be based on the overall level of blood lipids in children, their association with diseases such as adult hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular diseases, racial differences After considering the factors to improve.
