月球探测是我国航天活动发展的必然选择,将成为我国航天事业的第三个里程碑,自20世纪60—70年代的第一次月球探测高潮后,迎来了“重返月球”的又一次月球探测热潮,以开发利用月球上丰富的核聚变燃料氦-3、矿产和空间环境资源等为最终目标。我国已经具备了进行月球探测的技术能力,首期工程的科学目标包括获取月球表面三维影像、分析月球表面有用元素含量和物质类型的分布特点、探测月壤厚度和探测地-月空间环境。
Lunar exploration is the inevitable choice for the development of China’s space activities and will become the third milestone of China’s space undertaking.
