The Phillips curve is an important tool for analyzing the relationship between macroeconomic variables and can show the characteristics and laws of economic operation. The empirical analysis shows that the classic Phillips curve does not exist in India. The reason may be that India does not meet the preconditions for the establishment of the Phillips curve theory and India’s own special reasons. In this paper, according to the reality of economic development in India, by introducing the economic growth rate and labor participation rate as the new explanatory variables, the econometric model with higher degree of fitting is obtained. Finally, it also gives some enlightenment on China.
