Sudden exercise death refers to exercise-related sudden death (abbreviation). The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Society of Cardiology defined sudden movement of the skull as a person who has or does not have symptoms and who exercises physically or not accidentally dies during or 24 hours after exercise. As most sudden death occurs suddenly, clinical treatment is often by surprise, if early detection, early diagnosis, is expected to improve the success rate of rescue. Now 42 cases of sudden death in our hospital for a retrospective clinical analysis. 1 clinical data 42 patients were from 1988 to 2005 in our hospital to participate in sports and accidental sudden death, the onset time were in exercise or within 24 h after exercise. 24 males and 18 females, the ratio of male to female was 4: 3, the age of onset was 20-67 years, with an average age of 48.2 ± 3.4 years. There are 8 cases of cardiovascular history, accounting for 19%, no clear history of 34 cases, accounting for 81%. 42 cases of sudden death in sports events and death causes in Table 1, Table 2.
