单包层掺镱光纤吸收特性的实验研究

对单包层掺镱光纤的吸收特性进行了实验研究。分析了抽运光功率、掺杂光纤长度以及种子光功率对单包层掺镱光纤吸收能力的影响。研究发现吸收饱和时,抽运光每增加100mW,掺杂光纤可再吸收40~60mW的抽运光,且随着抽运光功率的继续增加,吸收系数趋于某一定值;长度越长,吸收饱和情形下掺杂光纤的再吸收能力越强,光纤的吸收系数越大;注入种子光能明显提高掺杂光纤对抽运光的吸收能力。 The absorption characteristics of Yb-doped single-clad fiber were studied experimentally. The influence of pumping light power, doped fiber length and seed light power on absorption capacity of Yb-doped single-clad fiber was analyzed. The results show that for every 100 mW increase in pumping light, the doped fiber can absorb 40-60 mW pumping light again, and the absorption coefficient tends to a certain value as the pump light power continues to increase. The longer the length, Under the condition of saturated absorption, the stronger the reabsorption ability of the doped fiber, the larger the absorption coefficient of the fiber; the injection of seed light can obviously improve the absorption ability of the doped fiber to the pump light.
