阅读和分析澳大利亚4所老年大学网站提供的招生手册,发现他们的办学模式具有独特之处:纯知识类课程比重高,凸显老年大学知识殿堂属性;课程性质决定行课时间,课时长短设置灵活;行课方式丰富多彩,校园内外均可作为课堂;校区林立但运营管理有序,自然做到走向基层。通过对比我国和澳大利亚老年大学的办学模式,笔者认为,澳大利亚老年大学办学经验可为我国老年大学提升课程品质、拓展专业设置、丰富课堂教学、发展学校规模等多个方面提供有益启示。
Reading and analyzing the admissions manuals provided by four Australian university websites, we found that their mode of running schools is unique: the proportion of pure knowledge courses is high, and the attributes of the knowledge of senior citizens’ universities are highlighted; the nature of the courses determines the time for class work and the flexible length of classes; Rich and colorful ways to do class, both inside and outside the campus can be used as a classroom; campus management but orderly management, to achieve the grassroots level. By comparing the mode of running schools in China and Australia, the author believes that the experience of running a university in Australia can provide useful enlightenment for our country’s aging colleges in improving curriculum quality, expanding professional settings, enriching classroom teaching and developing school scale.
