With the expansion of use, people are exposed more and more, so people are very concerned about its harm to human health. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has included ethylene oxide as a chemical that is highly likely to cause cancer in humans. This article only summarizes the recent studies on carcinogenesis, mutagenesis and teratogenicity of ethylene oxide.
