张若名是五四时期中国妇女解放运动的先驱,她在身体力行妇女解放斗争实践的同时,在理论上对妇女解放问题进行了深入研究。集中体现其妇女解放思想的《“急先锋”的女子》一文,在中国妇女运动思想史上占有重要地位。 ZHANG Ruo-ning, a pioneer of the Chinese women’s liberation movement during the May Fourth Movement, conducted an in-depth study of women’s liberation theoretically while practicing the liberation struggle of women. The article entitled “An Urgent Pioneer Woman”, which concentrates on women’s emancipation of the mind, occupies an important position in the history of the Chinese women’s movement.
