A video shows a pair of cyclists in Brussels have got more than a few bruises （擦伤） when running into each other. The video has become an Internet hit. More than 100,000 people watched it just over three weeks, since it was shown on the 11th of February. So the question is, why have they done it? Well, it’s to highlight （强调） the situation of those who choose to travel around the Belgian （比利时） capital on two wheels.
The unskilled video shows a movement of growing unhappiness among cyclists in the city, in contrast（对比） to European cities, which lead the way for city cycling, such as Amsterdam and Copenhagen （哥本哈根）.
The video also gives sound evidence（合理依据） for traffic planners, allowing them to build roads and streets that will be better for cycling safety. This will not only result in fewer hurts to cyclists but also encourage cycling in cities. It will certainly be good for personal and public health.
