背景知识在一定程度上左右着英语学习,而增加阅读量是一种有效扩大背景知识面的方法。英语课外阅读在高中英语教学中有着不可忽视的积极意义。增加阅读量,自然就能扩大背景知识面;反过来,扩大了背景知识面同样有助于加快阅读速度,从而在有限的时间内进行更大面积的阅读。如此良性循环,从而提高阅读能力。本文根据图式理论,提出通过增加学生的报刊阅读量、扩大学生的背景知识面培养学生阅读能力,提高学生英语阅读水平。
Background knowledge to a certain extent, about English learning, and increase reading is an effective way to expand the background of knowledge. English extracurricular reading has a positive meaning that can not be ignored in senior high school English teaching. Increase the amount of reading, naturally, will be able to expand the background of knowledge; in turn, to expand the background knowledge of the same help to speed up reading, so as to be a limited time for a larger area of reading. Such a virtuous circle, so as to improve reading ability. According to schema theory, this paper proposes that students ’reading ability should be raised and students’ English reading ability should be improved by increasing students ’reading volume, expanding students’ background knowledge.
