SANBALTS(Simple As Necessary Baltic Long-Term Large-Scale)是一个氮磷循环耦合模型。
SANBALTS (Simple As Necessary Baltic Long-Term Large-Scale) is a coupled nitrogen and phosphorus cycle model. Developed as an integral part of the decision support system for the assembly of marine eutrophication research, it sets as its overarching goal the assessment of mitigation of eutrophication of the Baltic Sea. With this model, the concentrations of oxygen and nutrients, transport streams, and major biogeochemical fluxes can be analyzed in a number of different ways, including establishing a complete nutrient budget and tracking the migration and conversion of nutrient inputs. The large volume of data available in the Baltic Sea makes it possible to validate model results using observational data. In this paper, the main biogeochemical characteristics of the Baltic Sea are discussed by analyzing the sensitivity of the model to external driving forces and internal parameters. The model results emphasize that two characteristics are of particular importance to ecosystem management: 1) the impact of local regulatory measures continues to change due to long-range transmission outside the region; 2) significant changes in load occur only after decades of response see.
