In the romantic art era, the last call of historical art was undoubtedly established as a model of art at that time: since then, art history has become the academic standard, and art researchers and artists parted ways. Art researchers no longer continue to write about the art history of the present, but the past has been great and ideal for them, and they are only willing to write in art. Instead, artists are no longer looking for role models in the past, they aspire to a better future, and they aspire to a future beyond the eternal past. The two sides, on the contrary, aim to present the past in the same way as they are now, with each side taking the past as imitation and the other as passing away from the past.
