《共产党宣言》(以下简称《宣言》第一自然段:“至今所有一切社会的历史都是阶级斗争的历史”[1](后出版的译文改为“到目前为止的一切社会的历史都是阶段斗争的历史。”[2])曾经是马恩对人类历史发展性质的一个重要论断,其重要性是不言而喻的。这句话是否有弊病呢?如果有,那么马克思恩格斯为什么当时会写下这句话作为《宣言》正文的首语呢?他们又是如何认识和解决这一弊病的呢?目前,国内理论界对第一个问题的回答基本持肯定意见,但具体认识不太一致;
