中国的东南大学和英国的萨里大学在旅游界都是知名的高等学府,它们的教育情况能够普遍反映两国的旅游高等教育状况。本文首先从中英两国的旅游硕士研究生教育背景入手;进而通过对中英两所比较有代表性的高等院校旅游管理专业硕士研究生教育的课程设置、教学模式、培养目标等方面的分析,探讨中英两国旅游硕士教育中存在的差异,以及差异形成的原因;最后,结合我国旅游硕士研究生教育的实际情况,提出英国给我国带来的启示,从而促进我国旅游硕士研究生教育的发展。 China’s Southeast University and the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom are both well-known institutions of higher learning in the tourism industry. Their education can generally reflect the status of tourism and higher education in both countries. This article starts with the educational background of Master of Tourism in China and the United Kingdom. Then, through the analysis of the curriculum setup, teaching mode and training objectives of two master degree programs in Tourism Management in China and Britain, In the end, based on the actual situation of postgraduate education in Tourism Master in our country, the enlightenment brought by Britain to our country is put forward to promote the development of postgraduate tourism education in China.
