广告是一种非常难以驾驭的力量。它有点像放射疗法:用对了,它能治某些看起来是不治之症的病症;用错了,它会灼伤人、留下终生的伤疤。广告的危险性就在于它很有可能使用不当,即便使用得当,但如果我们不保护自己的话,也经常会被人误解。
Advertising is a very unmanageable force. It’s a bit like radiation therapy: right, it can cure some seemingly incurable diseases; wrong, it will burn people, leaving life-long scars. The danger with advertising is that it is very likely to be misused, and if used properly, it is often misunderstood if we do not protect ourselves.
