李金宗,哈尔滨工业大学信息与通信工程学院教授、博士生导师,在信号理论及信息处理技术、数字图像处理理论与系列图像分析技术、模式识别理论与智能控制技术等方面有深入研究,主要著作有《模式识别导论》、《离散正交变换导论》等。他的研究主要侧重于三维目标识别和自动寻的跟踪处理技术,针对空间在轨自主/自动交会对接的需求,研究反杂光干扰、标志的自动识别和三维参数测量等有关理论与技术,在空间交会对接理论与光学成像敏感器技术方面有新的突破,并被应用于“天宫一号”目标飞行器上。
