The Input Hypothesis is the most important one of Krashen’s theories of second language acquisition.It attempts to explain how learners acquire a second language.On the basis of the Input Hypothesis,Krashen introduces the concept of comprehensible input and puts forward the“i+1”principle.Inspired by the Input Hypothesis teachers can make proper arrangements at the pre-listening,the while-listening and the after-listening stage to make sure that learners get comprehensible input and their linguistic competence improve.
