In the study of hermeneutics since the 20th century, American scholar Herch undoubtedly is one of the most important representatives. Hirsch’s hermeneutics is not limited to a mere methodological consideration, but also points to a more vivid and specific socio-cultural dimension. The background of his theory lies in the widespread situation of deconstruction and nihilism. The purpose of this theory lies in the indefinable meaning (the so-called “atheism”) that can not be reached by various opinions and “consensus” Criticism then highlights the definitive assertion of the meaning of “agnosticism.” Fundamentally, the ultimate fate of Hirsch’s hermeneutic theory is a genuine appeal and sincere appeal to the humanistic spirit.
