Squid is an important oceanic economy cephalopods, is the main fishing target of China squid fishing vessels. This paper summarizes and summarizes the progress of the biological research on the freshwater fish of the North Pacific octopus, such as its population structure, migration, age, growth, reproduction and ingestion. It also proposes the direction for further study, for future reference. Squid can be divided into four seasonal geographic populations, namely, the autumn group, the autumn group, the central group of winter spring and spring and the spring of the eastern community, but also need to be further confirmed from the perspective of molecular biology; Seasons do north and south migratory, of which north to the bait migration pattern more in-depth study, and south spawning migratory pattern is not yet clear, the spawning ground spatial distribution and spawning period need further investigation; squid sexual habits research is relatively inadequate, Especially from spawning to hatching and to the larval life after hatching. The distribution of Ommastrephes there is a great difference between the marine environment and the diurnal movement of Ommastrephes bartrami in different sea areas. The types of life cycle, the mechanism of resource replenishment during the year and the relationship with environment are initially mastered. In order to better develop and utilize this resource, there is a need to strengthen cooperation among various countries, systematically carry out surveys and fishery biology research on Ommastrephes resources in the North Pacific, establish a monitoring system for Ommastrepin resources based on marine ecosystems, Resource characteristics assessment model and its management strategy.
