信息与情报各有其特定的涵义，两者不能等同。“科技情报”更名为“科技信息”不是一次成功的举措。作为主要研究科技情报规律性的情报学有其独特的研究对象和研究领域，目前这一学科的名称不宜改动。
Information and intelligence each have their own specific meanings, and the two can not be equated. The change from “S & T Intelligence” to “S & T information” is not a successful move. As the main research intelligence regularity of information science has its own unique research objects and research areas, the current name of the subject should not be changed.
