本文简要介绍了埙这一失传多年的古乐器在近现代发展的状况，包括埙复鸣、改革、乐曲创作、演奏技巧等问题以及其发展中所遇到的问题，提出了作者自己的一些看法，并主要依照埙的发音原理，针对当前所流行的埙的指法的不足，经过自己长期摸索提出了一种新的简单易学的指法规则，希望通过对埙指法的进一步研究最大限度的挖掘埙这一独特乐器的艺术魅力。
