Underground pipe irrigation, formerly referred to as the infiltration, is the use of buried underground permeable pipe, the irrigation water directly into the crop roots of a soil irrigation method. Because it can keep the soil in a non-saturated state, it not only saves water but also creates a favorable environment for the crop to be coordinated by water, gas and heat so as to promote high yield of crops. Under certain soil conditions, seepage irrigation has significant advantages. But there are also some technical and theoretical problems that remain unresolved. The purpose of this paper is to give a general review of the level of seepage and to try to explain its mechanism and effectiveness.
