学生在学习数学中,无論叙述名詞、定义,以及在解題时都要用語言、文字来說明,或者要用数学式子、图形或符号来表示,这些都属于数学語言。学生能否正确掌握和使用数学上的语言,是与邏輯思維能力的发展直接联系着的。从这个意义上来說,数学語言的运用也是学习数学的基本功。但就目前学生在这方面的表达能力来看,一般都还比較弱,各种各样的缺点和錯誤經常出現,在一定程度上影响到教学貭量的提高。这是数学教学中值得注意的一个問題。一、常見的缺点和錯誤 学生在使用数学語言时所出現的缺点或錯誤,在他們的作业中,以及在对他們的提問或談話中,可以清楚看出,常見的有如下一些类型:
