近年来 ,发展问题成为政府和学术界关注的焦点 ,无论是平民百姓还是高层精英 ,都开始关注并参与讨论这个看似与生活并不十分密切的话题。污染、失衡、贫困等社会发展中的现实难题迫使人们不得不进行理性的追问 ,实践无疑是理论发展的动力 ,同样 ,社会要健康协调地发展也需要理论的导引。党的十六届三中全会后 ,一个原本人们不太熟悉的名词———“科学发展观”频频出现于各种媒体。“坚持以人为本 ,树立全面、协调、可持续的发展观 ,促进经济社会和人的全面发展” ,这是对科学发展观的全新阐述 ,它不仅表明了我国政府对发展中存在问题的关心 ,也标志着党中央对发展问题认识的进一步深化。为全面理解与深入把握科学发展观的内涵及其精神实质 ,本刊特发表的一组文章 ,希望能引起各界对此问题的进一步关注。———编　者 In recent years, the issue of development has become the focus of attention of both government and academia.
