By using literature expressions such as singing the praise,attaching morals to plants,and expressing emotions,the relationship between landscape architecture and plants as well as their literature attributes was studied.The relationship between plants and literature was summarized mainly as below:endowing plants with moral implications,indifference to fame and wealth,natural and ecological philosophical views.Correlation between plant literature and natural landscape was elaborated from the formal beauty,fragrance,light and shadow,sound and color beauty of plants,physical literature features of plants,internal relationship between literature connotations of plants and scenic areas was described and studied qualitatively.The study was to achieve the integration of plants,literature,plant landscaping and landscape architecture,and enhance the further research on plant literature,so as to increase cultural elements in plant landscaping,and promote the application of literature characteristics of plants.
