英语的学习不仅是一种交际方式和交际工具的学习和使用,还是文化、情感传递、互通的手段。在当前社会中,各国间的密切交往使英语的重要性越来越突出。要想顺利交流,了解一定的跨文化知识是必须的。在传统的初中英语教学中,教师往往将侧重点放在语法、词汇、翻译等的教学上,而对跨文化知识的教学却少有提及。笔者在本校情智教育的实践与研究下,充分结合初中英语教学的现状与需要,开展了初中英语教学过程中的跨文化教学实践与研究。比如,教师可以挖掘英语教
