One of the masterpieces of Canadian Monologue, one of the masterpieces of the 13th Nobel Prize laureate “Escape”, embodied profound ecological feminism. Monroe attempts to find a way out for both sexes and for harmonious coexistence between mankind and nature through the daily life of her protagonist Carla and Flora, the representative of nature, the attempt to escape and the eventual return. Interpretation of this attempt can more fully understand Monroe’s ecological feminism reflected in the novel.
