第二语言习得关键期假说从诞生时起便是一个备受争议的话题,分为两个流派,支持派和反对派,他们都试图从心理学、认知科学、语言学、生理学等角度证明自己主张的合理性。对两个学派的观点进行比较,发现虽然研究关键期假说存在争议之处,但揭示的观点却在一定程度上对外语教学有所启发。在小学阶段,儿童语言学习能力较强,所以应该给予小学外语教学充分的重视;年龄因素在语言学习中起重要作用,但需要更深入的探讨其成因和影响力。
The key period hypothesis of second language acquisition has been a controversial topic since it was born. It is divided into two schools of thought, supporters and opposition parties, all of whom are trying to study psychology, cognitive science, linguistics and physiology Prove their own claims of legitimacy. Comparing the perspectives of the two schools of thought, we find that although there are some controversies about the key period hypothesis, the viewpoints revealed reveal a certain degree of inspiration to foreign language teaching. In primary school, children’s language learning ability is strong, so full emphasis should be given to foreign language teaching in primary school. Age factor plays an important role in language learning, but its cause and influence need to be discussed more deeply.
