在中国,无论是业界还是理论界,都对纪录片投入了巨大的关注和热情。从表面看,20世纪90年代之后的中国纪录片风光不再,整体走向了衰落。事实上, 无论是中国社会环境的变化,还是中国的媒介体制改革,都让中国纪录片的发展面临无穷的变数。中国纪录片理论研究也呈现出一片繁荣景象。从理论上说, 理论研究以指导实践为目的,学术探讨为业界提供普遍性经验,但实际情况又往往是业界实践先行,理论研究滞后。笔者在参阅了2003年至今的重要纪录片理论书籍与刊物之后,对其中较有代表性的广播电视理论刊物,如《电视研究》、《南方电视学刊》、《现代传播》和《中国广播电视学刊》等刊物刊登的85篇有关纪录片理论研究的文章进行了定量与定性研究,借此管窥近两年来中国纪录片理论研究的得失。
In China, both industry and theorists have devoted tremendous attention and enthusiasm to documentaries. On the surface, the scenery of the Chinese documentary after the 1990s is no longer the whole, and the overall decline. In fact, both the changes in China’s social environment and the reform of China’s media system have made endless changes in the development of documentary in China. The research on Chinese documentary theory also shows a prosperous situation. Theoretically speaking, theoretical research aims at guiding practice and academic exploration provides universal experience for the industry. However, the actual situation is often preceded by industry practice and the theoretical research lags behind. After referring to the important documentary theory books and publications from 2003 till now, the author expounds some of the most representative radio and television academic journals such as “TV Studies”, “Southern TV Journal”, “Modern Communication” and “China Radio and Television Academic Journal ”and other 85 articles on the theory of documentary research carried out quantitative and qualitative research to take a look at the past two years the success or failure of Chinese documentary theory research.
