According to the design requirements of the formula, in the liquid EP (epoxy resin) through the addition of different particle size of random Al2O3 ceramic particles prepared thermal conductivity composite material. According to the ASTM D 5470-2006 standard, the thermal conductivity of composites was determined by the steady-state heat transfer method, which was used as a basis to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the thermal conductive filler. The fractal theory was used to explain the thermal conductivity. The results show that the composite material with the best thermal conductivity can not be obtained if the fractional dimension D of the particle size distribution in the mixed particles is too small or too large.
