建设和谐劳动关系需要雇主的主动性和积极性,其对劳资合作在企业经营中的重要性认知将直接决定其劳动关系管理实践,进而决定了企业劳动关系和谐的程度以及企业的经营绩效。美国石油大亨约翰·戴维森·洛克菲勒(JohnD.Rockefeller)、英国知名成衣零售企业Burton的创始人蒙塔古·伯顿(Montague Burton)和中国民生公司创始人卢作孚三位知名企业家,在年代相同的20世纪上半叶,都表现出了相似但又有差异的劳资合作思想,并对本国的劳动关系管理产生深远影响。本文对比三位企业家所处的社会、经济和政治背景,分别对其劳动关系管理实践进行阐述和分析,目标在于借鉴企业家们作为雇主在劳资双赢方面的经营理念和管理实践。
The construction of harmonious labor relations needs the initiative and enthusiasm of employers. The recognition of the importance of collective-owned labor and capital cooperation in the management of enterprises will directly determine the practice of labor relations management, which in turn determines the degree of harmonious labor relations and the operating performance of enterprises. John D. Rockefeller, the oil tycoon of the United States, Montague Burton, founder of Burton, a well-known British clothing retailer, and three well-known entrepreneurs, such as Lu Zuofu, founder of China Minsheng Co., In the first half of the 20th century, all showed similar but different differences in labor-management cooperation and had far-reaching effects on the management of their labor relations. This article compares the social, economic and political backgrounds of the three entrepreneurs and elaborates and analyzes respectively their labor relations management practices. The goal is to draw on the business ideas and management practices of entrepreneurs as employers in the aspect of capital gains and benefits.
