莎剧《哈姆莱特》一直被奉为文学经典,各种不同的阐释不绝于耳。美国作家约翰·厄普代克试图扭转人们对这部作品及有关人物形象的思维定式,以戏剧《哈姆莱特》及有关传说为参照,建构了一个具有女性话语特征的文本《葛特露和克劳狄斯》,体现了一位当代作家对于女性、女性命运以及女性与男性的关系等问题的思考。本文从女性主义的视角对作品进行阐释,认为小说是一部为女性正名的作品。
Shakespeare ’Hamlet’ has been regarded as literary classics, a variety of different interpretations. American writer John Updike attempted to reverse the stereotype of the work and the characters’ images, and based on the drama “Hamlet” and related legends, he constructed a text with the characteristics of feminine discourse. Laudis, "reflects the thinking of a contemporary writer about the fate of women, women and the relationship between women and men. This article interprets the work from the perspective of feminism and argues that the novel is a work which is a woman’s real name.
