王尔德的《莎乐美》尽管曾遭查禁,至今也还并非完全没有争议,但多数学者相信它算得上是一部经典;尤其一个无可争辩的事实是,它在文学艺术上世界性和历史性的影响,使任何一部英国戏剧史、英国文学史,乃至欧洲戏剧史,都无法回避它的存在。本文一方面考察作者在创作该剧时肯定或可能受到前人,主要是几位法国作家的启示,同时也指出剧作本身的独创特色;文章还以几位中国现代作家的创作活动为例,说明《莎乐美》对中国现代文学的影响。
Although Wilde’s Salome has been banned, it is not entirely uncontested at this stage, but most scholars believe it can be regarded as a classic. In particular, one indisputable fact is that it is cosmopolitan and historical in literature and art Sex, so that any one of the history of British drama, the history of British literature, and even the history of European drama, can not be avoided its existence.
