依据汤玲等人提出的距离协调度模型及系统协调发展定量评价方法,以8项指标建构高等教育与经济系统协调发展评价指标体系,对我国2012年31个省份的高等教育系统与区域经济系统的协调发展现况进行了实证研究。得到如下结论:总的来看,我国高等教育与经济协调发展得分在一般以下,除北京外,协调发展度得分均低于0.5;省域高等教育与经济系统协调发展排序与我们通常认知水平存在一定出入,但仔细分析指标数据及测算过程,仍可以发现该结论具有较大合理性。
