在当今中国油画界的人物画领域,我最喜欢两个人的作品,一个是朝戈,一个是毛焰。而毛焰又是朝戈的学生辈,如此说来,朝戈就更显独特了。我喜欢朝戈的画,是因为他总是能够把那些难以名状的情绪表现出来,画面的人物形象深邃而饱满,有时还很神经质,就像是马上要穿透表情从色彩和结构里面蹦出来,给人以一种逼近心跳的感觉。也许,这就是审美的力量吧。艺术的紧张与压迫之后,得到的是一种审美的飞跃。
