目前,上海的各行各业都在讨论如何为世博会做贡献,如何利用上海举办世博会的极好机缘发展本行业的问题。上海世博会事务协调局副局长周汉民教授在最近的一次讲演中指出:“2010年世博会的举办,无疑是上海建设国际大都市、建设世界性城市的一次重要契机。未来7年筹建和举办世博会,必须以国际大都市的建设为导向,并为国际大都市的建设奠定坚实的基础。”(《文汇报》2003年11月30日) 本着以上的精神,结合上海饮食行业的现状和食文化研究的实际,笔者提议与呼吁:乘世博会机缘,创办食文化博物馆。
