Objective: To investigate the effects of continuous physical work on cognitive function such as human attention and memory. Methods: Totally 30 volunteers were enrolled in the study. Physical exercises were performed for 3 consecutive days and the nighttime sleep time was limited. Using digital marketing test, digital search test to detect changes in cognitive function of the brain, such as attention and memory, on the first day and the third day of continuous physical activity subjects. Comparison of measurement data between groups using a completely designed analysis of variance of random data. Results: In the digital marketing test, the logarithm of the first day of continuous operation was 7.73 ± 2.41 and decreased to 4.36 ± 1.92 on the third day. The net income decreased from 4.99 ± 2.03 on the first day to 2.42 ± 2.32 on the third day, (P <0.05). On the first day, the number of errors was 0.13 ± 1.17, the error rate was (32.43 ± 15.65)%. The number of mistakes was 0.33 ± 1.06 on the third day of continuous physical work, and the error was 0.33 ± 1.06 The rate reached (60.73 ± 25.67)%, the difference was significant (P <0.05). The digital search test showed that the error rate was (37.54 ± 25.90)% on the first day of operation and was lower than that on the third day (48.91 ± 30.40%) of continuous physical work, with a significant difference (P <0.05). The net score decreased with continuous manual work hours, but no significant difference. CONCLUSION: Continuous manual work can cause impaired cognitive function in the human brain. Short-term attention and memory loss are reduced with continuous manual work hours.
