美国也有一民谚:“Giveahungry man a fish and you’ll feed him for aday.Teach him how to fish and he’ll feed himself for a long time.”
The new English curriculum standard emphasizes the “learning by doing” by students. It requires teachers to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ learning abilities in their teaching. They must work hard to teach students how to learn and how to inspire students’ thinking. The ancients said: “To grant the fish, it is better to grant it to fish.” The United States also has a ballad: “Giveahungry man a fish and you’ll feed him for aday.Teach him how to fish and he’ll feed himself for a long time ”The purpose of teaching is not to teach. It is more important for students to gain knowledge and methods than knowledge content itself. Learning is not just about learning knowledge, but more importantly, how to learn.
